What is the best method of fixing insulation and plasterboard to 20 mm battens, can adhesives be used, or am i better sticking to drywall screws (although struggling to find 90mm drywall screws) Walls have to be battened because of uneven brickwork, (old outbuilding) and the walls are covered in limewash, so cannot bond directly to brickwork,. Thanks for any suggestions

90mm drywall screws exist - we have just completed a job using these very screws.

they were not the usual dull black sharp trumpet heads but silver dudes.

ok thanks noseall, although you are not that far from me, we did some work in the windmill in stafford a couple of years ago

Thats where we got all materials from for the mill, thanks again noseall, brother in law is going stafford way on monday so will ask him to call in if he has time
