I am going to be fitting 100mm celotex (fixed to 2x1 wooden battens) to a brick wall and I need to securely attach a steel rope/cable to the wall (between 2 walls in fact).

How would you recommend I fix the cable to the wall? I am struggling to find an appropriate fixture.

I'm sure the Clifton death slide will bring in the tourists :)

I'm guessing its for a cat wire for the leccy cable.
Rawlbolt, replacing the bolthead with a length of studding, then an eyebolt on the end, with a large square washer against the wall to spread the load against the render. Min. 12mm stud.

Thank you for your replies.

I'm really getting into my BDSM and don't want to have to worry about anyone getting loose.

In the end I went with 8mm steel rope attached to eye plates at either end with turnbuckles to tighten it.
