One of my all time favourite joke is about a couple of brummies chatting, has to done in a brummy accent.
What did yome do today
went fishing
where did yome go fishing
down the cut
did yer catch anything
Aye, caught a whale
What? yome went fishing down the cut, and yome caught a whale?
Aye
What dit yer do with it
I threw it back
WHAT? yome fishing, down the cut, you caught a whale, and you threw it back,
Aye
WHY?
It didn't have any spokes in it.

If you changed 'Brummie' to Wolverhampton or Black country, you'd be close.
Closer still if you changed the word 'aye' to 'ar'. Yam yams never say aye. They also say 'yam' rather than 'yome'.

The Brum accent is actually nothing like broad Black Country. You will hear a Brummie pronounce his 'h's, a yam yam won't.
