Flags to be Replaced

But that's exactly what they did. They mobilised the UK's racists and foreigner haters in the name of flag shagging.
There could well be an element of that but that goes with any peaceful demonstration too, they can try to use it as excuses to riot etc but that doesn’t alter the initial objectives of the protest. I see these flags in some very affluent areas.

There are strict regulations on what can be placed on street lighting. Once again too many to list as there are countless pole sizes lighting luxury levels and road traffic. The councils can apply to parliament to any changes if we do not agree to them.

What I am getting at is that, as far as I have read, it is not your company which gets to make the decision as to whether to replace the flags. It is a political decision for the councils in your area.

Funny how you support protestors against ice and protestors carrying weapons
When you say support, I think what you meant to say is I'm against people being murdered because some observers exist on the same street as some masked fascist murdering thugs? I haven't commented on the subsequent protests, but I believe they are justified.

Contradictory I would say.
Lies, is what I would say.

We could have just shot them instead. You seem to be in favour of shooting people protesting legally.

Yes we have received requests to undertake this work for them. We originally was contracted to take them down but it caused quite a stir. This was a result of keeping everyone happy.

Nor has he said which flags are being replaced.

Is it going to apply across both council areas i.e. Hull council and East Yorkshire council.

Exactly. Each council has its own budgets. It all depends on how much they could allocate to the flags. It is a headache country wide and a massive expense for us to take them down.

The union flags that have been placed illegally are the ones that will remain or taken down or even just left.
Eh? You said it was a concerted effort to replace the flags with 'plastic sign flags? I'm not sure from that above statement what you are actually on about?

And all the other flags dotted about, i.e. those that are not the Union Jack, does this apply..... 'will remain, taken down or even just left'...?

The only other councils doing this so far seem to be Reform led councils.
Are those the councils that said (well, Nigel said) they were not going to raise council tax, then promptly proposed or confirmed raises?

Naughty Nigel...
