Flaking paint in shower

Hi all,

Got a small patch above the shower that's flaked off and now shows the plaster..

I've scraped and sanded... Can I just mist coat and then paint?

If it flaked off, this might suggest that the plaster wasn’t originally given a mist coat

It's a new build ‍ so guaranteed it wasn't!

You might be better off mist coating and then using water based eggshell over the whole ceiling. It will repel any steam from the showering.
