I want to redo my flat roof (over a utility room).

The trouble is I am in a quandry as to what to go for. There seems to be so many flat roof companies out there.

The size of the utility room is 16'x8'. I am inclined to get a builder to convert this to a pitched room.

Should I call a builder or roofer?
I have no clue how much a pitched roof of this size would cost.
Part of the pitched roof would but again the garage pitched room (opposite plane though). I guess there would need to obe some sort of gully here.
Could I just get the flat roof redone in lead or zinc?

Although my flat room is not leaking I need to get some pointers before I get invloved with getting guys in to quote.

I think I want a pitched tiled roof. This way it is pretty much maintenance free.

Any thoughts or things to watch for?

p.s. I won't be tackling this on my own though.

Thanks

Lead/zinc...ask in the roofing forum . there is Justlead and another sheet roofer, who would probably be able to give a "ballpark" £
