Flat Roof - Change?

Hi

I have a worn out flat roof on garage which sits on its own at end of garden, what are my alternatives than having another flat roof which always seem to hold water and last about 10 years?

I wouldn't mind a tiled roof but guess this would need planning and cost a lot?

Is there an alternative to flat roofs nowadays or something harder wearing?

This is the best way to go, don't need planning but check with BCO first, you only need to follow the building regs, in which the pitch roof is no higher than 4m etc. Pop down to your BCO and they will tell you what you need to do, very straight forward. In most cases they will tell you to go ahead.

Gang nailed truss frame is the cheapest for roof section, just give them the external size of the wall plate and they will work it out for you.
