Flat roof maintenance

I have a felt flat roof over my garage and part of the living room. This has a few sections of felt and it developed a leak couple of years ago.

Based on advice from this forum, I used Acropyl and not seen a drip since then! I used it on al seams and suspect areas.

Q. Should I top this up every n years? What should I be doing to proactively ensure that the leak doesn’t occur again?

How old is the roof felt?

Some sections are 3-4 years old and some are 10+

Acrypol should be lasting as long as the roof felt, or 10-15 years

That’s helpful to understand.
In that case, is any other type of maintenance or check recommended for my flat roof?

I’m very happy, that it’s not leaking currently but I want to keep it that way!

A wash and a sweep once a year or so
