Currently designing rear and side single story extension.

Been advise that rear extension should have flat roof due to 1st story windows. Unlikely we'll make 15 degree pitch, and internal head height at external wall is pushing it.

However, need a pitched roof down the side to meet planning.

Can a pitched roof meet a flat roof like this, or is it a waterproofing nightmare?

Thanks in advance.

When a flat roof meets a pitched roof in roofing Sterling VA it's essential to ensure proper flashing and sealing to prevent potential leaks and maintain the roof's integrity. The transition between these two roof types can be a vulnerable point, so it's crucial to have a skilled roofing professional assess and address any potential issues to safeguard your home against water infiltration and other related concerns.

How does the existing first floor floor level work then?

Is that sketchup? Can you upload the sketchup file?
