flat roof notching

Hi there
I'm just building a garden office and im just about to put the joists on for the flat roof, ive built a pitched roof before but want to know if I need to notch out the roof joists each end on this flat roof , the roof is a 5% pitch and im using truss clips

one other question
im having a 600mm overhang on one end of the roof (the joists are 2x6 at 400 centers) is this to far for an overhang? could the joists sag?

600mm is the maximum allowable overhang without support although I think this applies to rafters.
