flat roof puddles

I\\\'ve just moved house and the flat roof on my front porch does not drain away after it rains. This leaves puddles and damp patches on the felt. I\\\'m worried this will eventually lead to damp penetration in the porch.
What can I do to get the water to drain off (as my adjoining neighbours does!)?

Get it relaid using ply on furring strips underneath.
Or get a ladder, broom and sou'wester.
