ive got these outside lights and the only come supplied with gromets for round cable and im puttin flat t & e in so need flat gromets but cant find any anywhere??

You say this is for an outdoor light - remember that T&E isn't designed to be used outdoors, as it isn't UV resistant (i.e. over time the outer sheath will degrade)...

i wanted some black 1.5mm flex for outside just to run around the side of the house to go to each light, but i didnt think there was any that was suitale for outside unless in conduit. ( i know t & e isnt either) isnt there some you can get away with with the light obviously only operating at night...?

Black flex is fine, as long as it's not at risk of mechanical damage. Use TRS or pond cable.

Or get RF to tell you how this would be an ideal opportunity to practice your MI skills....

Oh yuk - can't you come through the wall behind each one so that the cable isn't visible?

INHI what that means.....

thanks for that i agree it does look rubbish theres t & e runing from a spur to a switch then up into a outside light now need to put a junction box on to run a wire for another light... so you can imagine how it looks! the black cable will look a bit better though and easier to connect into the light and junction box for makin water tight.

curiosity.. what does INHI mean?
