You can also get CFLs that fit a 500w TH floodlamp and claim to offer the same light output as a 150w TH lamp, can't remember who makes them though

I've noticed that - Now only available as cheese head screws. Not in shape , but definitely in hardness. The cheese being Dairylea )

Your right, they are just made of brass coloured Dairylea now, not even as strong as babybells
