I've got laminate flooring in the hallway. The bottom step of the stairs is curved and the laminate goes right up to it.

I need to cover up the expansion gap but I'm finding it impossible to find anything on the market that is flexible enough to go round the curve - tried to bend one piece of beading but as expected it snapped

Has anyone sorted this particular problem before? Would steaming the wooden beading work?

You may have some trouble finding ramin timber. HM Customs have it as a banned wood as it's origin was not being re-forested, so it can't be imported any more. It's a light wood that things like louvre doors used to be made of. I tried to get some a while ago and gave up in the end. Good luck!
