I am fitting a new WC suite to an existing internal stack branch.
What are peoples views on flexible WC pan connectors?
It will save me a lot of time (instead of trying to use offsets/complicated connections with rigid fittings) when connecting up but am concerned whether internal ribbing restricts flow!

Sparky I have used them before and the ribs do disrupt the flow. If you can use 4" waste fittings, then I would use them, even if it is convoluted :(

Hi,
i've just had 2 occasions where rats have chewed thro flexible w.c fittings. They were the all plastic type without the spring inside which stayed bent to the selected shape. Thankfully they were built in so ratty couldn't get straight into the bathroom. I don't know if it was because of the corrugations on the wall of the pipe giving ratty an edge to chew or because they were slightly translucent and ratty was heading towards the light. Something to consider whilst sitting contemplating life. Regards
