Flickering Light

I have my pc and peripherals plugged into an anti-surge extension lead. I've recently noticed that the green protector light on the extension lead is flickering. Does anyone know if these means it's faulty, or on the way out.

It probably means that the neon indicator is on its way out.
If everything else is working OK I would just ignore it.
