Hi There I'm after a little advice.

I'm currently installing a small (2.5m x 1.5m) bathroom on the second floor of our house. The floor is 6 inch solid concrete I'm raising the floor slightly with wooden beams because of the pipe work.

The frame I've built will all connect and screw into each other but do I need to fasten the frame to the concrete? A wooden floor and then tiles will go on top?

Any help or advice wood be great.

Thanks
Terry

Does the raised floor now create a step from the adjacent existing floor?

Hi Norcon
Yeah it will create a step.

At the moment the beams are flush with the floor on the hallway.

Once the wooden floors and tiles have been put down it will raise it to 30mm - 35mm
