Hey Guys.
In my house, I have just lifted the bathroom floor to prepare for new bathroom. It is solid concrete which had a sort of crude wooden floating floor over it (which it the part I've lifted)
There is a hole at one end where the waste from the sink goes under into next room, and looking at that I dont see any DPM or similar, holes about 5 inch deep.
the house was built in the 1920's but I have no Idea when this concrete was laid.
Now is there anything to stop me just laying a floor direct onto the concrete or should I still have it raised slightly to allow air movement underneath? The wood that lifted off by the way is some 40 years old and was in good nic, no wet rot or soft bits.
