Hey guys,

We have taken on a project in a Penthouse apartment, lovely view of London.

Our client has asked us to design a mezzanine floor, so that he will have the bottom for his office and the mezzanine floor at the top for sleeping.

This mezzanine floor has already been constructed but there is not floor at the moment and is being supported, our client wants a wooden built floor, no more than 100mm thick, but he would like this floor to be hung by steel ropes or any alternative to beams running across the bottom of the floor.

The floor area is 2.3 width & 4.3m length, and we have x4 RSJ's similar to the floor shape (rectangular) to hang the steel ropes if possible.

I need to know your suggestions and if you have any details of companies that can provide us with the neccessary information on the above? Any design tips would be great, the link below is the plan layout.

Thank you in advance
