What is the purpose of the floodlight, does it need a PIR? (security or just wanting to see)
What detection area? (normally 10-12 metres but you can purchase greater)
How close are the neighbours? (This will have an effect on the power of the lamp you can use)

they're about a tenner for the traditional 500W (although that's reducing) PIR flood...cheap as chips.... hardly worth a mention lol
