I'm trying to level a kitchen floor, half is floorboard over joist and the other half is asphalt on top of concrete.

Plan was to plywood the wood half and use self levelling screed to level the concrete half up to the plywood. Problem is levelling the wood half is proving very hard.

So, Can I just plywood the wood half and then screed over the whole lot?

Unless the screed is over 50mm thick and has some mesh in it it may crack or debond

Ask in the flooring section, they should know
