Floor Varnish

hi,the floor varnish we have used seems to have chipped-off in several parts and i need to know once i have re done the touch-ups et, is there something else like a lacquer or varnish seal that i should apply to strengthen the bond of the varnish with the floor ?

No, not really. If the varnish 'flakes' off the floor it could mean it hasn't bonded properly. Nothing will bond it now.
Touch-ups on varnished floor could end up as patchy areas where the finish looks very different than the rest of the floor.
