Hi all,

Been hearing a ticking/dripping sound recently from the pipes. Thought this was probably an expansion/contraction issue but as we're renovating I took the opportunity to get the boards up. All the copper pipes have a green build up around them which is dry, but the green on the one joint is quite moist. The dust below it also shows signs of a few drips. Now, this probably isn't what the sound was, but as I'm here, what is the best way to repair this? Is it an easy job? Or could it be condensation? I've put a plastic takeaway tub under the joint to see how much it collects. Thanks in advance.

Remove and replace with soldered fittings. Easy if you know how to do it and have the equipment.
