hi there,
tiling the floor,to save cost and effort should i tile on existing wooden floor or,replace flooring with concrete slab,screed,and finish with tiles??any ideas,please help!!

Please don't take my word for any of this as i am a very novice DIY'er!

Tiling onto the wooden floor should be fine as long as a bonding/priming agent is used and that flexible floor tile adhesive is used which is specifically for tiling onto wood.

EDIT: I've also read about backerboard which may be needed for timber floors, so that may add to the cost :(
