Our Worcester Greenstar boiler was installed 2009, it has had 7 annual services and this time it has been pointed out to me that it was installed with the flow and return round the wrong way. What would be involved to put that right.
Do you think the additional vent pipe would stop the header tank overflowing every time the boiler fires up.The one pipe in the FE tank is not uncommon. It will be a combined feed and vent. It should be 22mm.
I don't understand your question. A 22mm pipe from the bottom of the FE tank is all that's required. No additional pipes are required. Are you now saying that the FE tank is overflowing? If so, you need to get someone to look at your system pipework configuration.Do you think the additional vent pipe would stop the header tank overflowing every time the boiler fires up.
