what type of tap is it?

are your other hot taps OK?

was it OK in the past?

has it been drained down prior to this problem starting?

is a screw down type mixer tap. A tap head to screw down on both hot and cold side. Don't think will be an air lock as its sealed system, combi boiler. Hasn't been drained down, just started over last couple of weeks,

If you feel confident enough to dismantle the tap, you'll find the rubber tap washer has spread, and preventing the tap jumper from releasing fully.

Have you got a unvented hot water cylinder?

Do you have a pressure reducing valve?

the other taps are ok no its run off a combi boiler. Could I just replace the head section of the hot side of the tap. I think there call reviver kits?
