I've more or less done all the pipe runs in the extension for the heating.
I have taken 22mm from the existing flow pipe (also 22mm).
I was going to use a couple of ball valves on the flow and return to the extension heating for isolating purposes.
I notice that the ball valve has a tiny bore (about 10mm). Doesn't this negate the whole point of supplying in 22mm pipe? Or idoes a localised restriction like this not affect the benefits of 22mm on the whole?

I never knew such things existed.
I realised today I'd already fitted the valves to the flow and return (some years ago). I think I'll probably leave them, and see how the setup runs before I go changing stuff.
