I am making some changes to my bathroom this weekend (well starting it anyway) and Ii notice I will have to stop all water flow as there are no isolation valves anywhere so I am looking at putting some in so this isn't an issue in the future and also once they are on I can put the water back on and continue working...
My question is that I want to try and restrict the water flow to around 8 - 10 litres a minute to the sink and have an isolating valve. I believe that if I use an isolation valve to restrict the flow it causes noise in the pipework or something as it due to pressure or something...
I am wondering does anyone know of anything I can use to do this? and as I have never put one of these in place before I presume I just cut the pipe where I need and add the valve in and then add the other part of the pipe at the top and that's it job done?
I would also like isolation vales on the toilet and the bath and shower (as its a separate shower to the bath) so I presume I can just use one for that and just restrict the flow rate on the sink so that the waterfall taps just continue doing what they do and everything is happy...
