Hi I'm new on here so bear with me, but I haven't been able to find the answer by searching previous posts.

I am going to replace my existing oil fired boiler with a new boiler located in the garage which is about 3 meters from the house.

The new boiler will be a Worcester Bosch conventional model (oil fired) but with externally fitted pressure vessel, pump and relief valve etc fitted so it has a pressurised primary heating circuit.

The house currently has 22mm flow and return pipe work in copper with the radiators fed off in 15mm copper.

My question is what is the best pipe size and type of pipe to run the flow and return from the new boiler to the existing pipe work in?
The runs will be around 8 or 9 meters in length and about 3 of those meters will be external (buried in a duct?)

The remainder will run under the floor of a first floor bathroom to reach the existing 22mm flow / return pipe work.

Any recommendations for make and size of pipe much appreciated - I have seen the pre-insulated plastic type and thought that might be the way to go?

I know that the plastic cant be connected directly to the boiler and I would need a certain amount of copper pipe between the boiler and the plastic, i also know i'm going to need a frost and pipe stat to prevent the external pipes freezing...

I hope I have explained it clearly, many thanks.
