Flow/return predicament

Hi, wonder if someone can help with this.

I recently extended my central heating system to add a couple of new radiators in. I was extremely careful to follow the 'flow' and 'return' (as they should have been) from the newly installed boiler to make sure I got them right. Once installed, it turned out they were the wrong way round... but on checking the rest of the house it turns out so were all the others, so evidently the plumber got it wrong.

The valves are two-way so I don't think it actually matters, but I now need to add another radiator. Do I now deliberately get them wrong for consistency, so if a new boiler is put on the right way at least they'll all be right? Or do I learn from the mistake to get this one the right way round, so at least one radiator in the house is hooked up correctly?

PS. The obvious answer is get the plumber back to sort out original mistake. THere are reasons why I can't which I won't go into.

Is it a combi ? It wont matter if you use bi-directional valves, it'll just go to either the left or right hand side first (or last if that makes sense). Remember some valves (i.e. danfoss) have a plastic end (under the stat) with a little arrow on it to turn with the direction of flow.

Have you worked out the heat losses, as adding these radiators may stretch your boilers capability, or have you allowed for this ?

Now there are 2 way trv's it makes no difference.The rad will work eitherway.The only thing is to remember balancing by using the l/s valve is vitally important.
