I am installing an insulated chimney through a pantiled roof. I have the proper flashing. I know this goes under the tiles above and over the tiles below but cannot remember what to do with the sides. I am fairly certain that these go over the tiles but would appreciate confirmation. TIA

I've only ever seen the side flashings go UNDER the tiles. Opinions vary on whether the gap between the lead and the tiles (top and) sides should be mortared, but I woudl have thought it a good idea with unflat tiles like yours.
I have seen both but the majority have been over the tiles at the side. This is how I do mine. Can't see what difference it would make if the lead collar is large enough as any water is running downwards and not sideways.
