Better to stay away from any solicitor as they CHARGE! The others are free!

The correct first line of complaint is the EHO as they have powers to force them to turn it off. I reckon you are at risk of CO poisoning.

CORGI have no powers except with registered people and it does not sound as if that was an RGI. Still contact them as they will have a view on the safety aspects. They say they are a "gas safety watchdog" !

The Building Control have an involvement but respond very slowly to third party complaints as their primary duty is to see new buildings meet regulations but they lack specific experience with gas appliances.

Thank you so much for all the replies. We talked to our neighbours and this morning there boiler didn't come on early. Not sure that s the answer, but it was a start. I'll take a picture today.
