Hello everyone,

Just a quick question... (hopefully!) I am looking to change the two light fitting in my kitchen (currently naff 1980's bar spotlight things, 3 60w bulbs on a bar, two bars in the room) to fluorescent tubes (two tubes, one at each end of the room). The kitchen is 3m by 2.5m, and I've got a choice of

18w 615mm long
30w 925mm long
36w 1235mm long
58w 1535 mm long
70w 1835mm long

My gut reaction is to go for the 58w fittings. Does the team think that two 58w tubes will give a decent light, bearing in mind there are no other light fittings in the room?

Any thoughts welcomed,

Cheers

Colin

get electronic / high frequency fittings, the extra cost is well worth it
