Hi there I have a large washer on the underside of my flushing unit and it seems to have perished. A new unit like the one pictured is around £55 but I 'd prefer to try a new washer out first but can't seem to get one anywhere.

Any ideas? Cheers

thanks guys..would the flapper valve fit my system? Looks like the button on top might be different to mine.

The Fluidmaster one can work with an existing lever, but the push button it comes with can be side or top mounted......all they do is pull a chain that operates the flapper - and you adjust that to length.
Charnwood is right - its the system to go for.
John :)

Char ...have you got shares in the Flapper Valve Co. ? ;)
Shhhh. Their National Sales Manager was my gaffer for a few years and is still a mate. No commission is forthcoming, sadly!

They are the dogs bits, though, and I'd fit nowt else.

The top and front button flapper valves are 2 different items.

Aah well not to worry I'll have to think about changing the whole thing
