i have fitted a new toilet, but when i flush the water appears to enter from one side, causing the water to spin in the pan and not really effectively flush the toilet, do flushing mechanisms only fit one way?

Bad casting on the toilet rim, so not allowing water to flow both ways.
Cheap chinese import is it.

oh really, i dont know maybe, i bought from plumbworld, oh thats ok then, it flushes adequately just got a bit of a weird action, i thought i had fitted the flushing sytem sideways or something
last one i fitted like that took 3 pans afore it was right
