Hi Kevnurse.
First I apologize for the spelling errors in my last note and they were I can assure you finger trouble and failure to Spell Check.
Anyway I did send a note off to MoTD, and after doing so they directed me to a page of FAQ http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/front_page/6183981.stm
Scrolling down to a question headed CLOCK gives an explanation as to why they omit the clock. It appears to be financial and the way the recordings are made. I still think it would be worth the effort to give the time though. I was interested to learn that as the question is raised in FAQ's, it has been raised many times by other fans of the game. As this is clearly the case, then Why have they done nothing about it?, I can't see that it would be that expensive or technically difficult. I was beginning to think I was the only football fan who wanted the time alapsed on highlights.
