Ford Fiesta high fuel consumption

My 1,25 fiesta is using too much fuel, and it’s been serviced recently. I have seen me brim the tank and 8 miles later the gauge has moved a bit. The car feels rough too

Strange because my other car a Golf TSI stays on full for ages, and doesn’t drink the fuel and that runs on E10, unless it affects certain engines worse?

Or plug in a code reader to check the health of the Lambda sensors. Check your tyres are fully inflated and brakes not binding.

Check your fuel gauge if its moving with 8 miles of brimming the tank. Mine doesn't move until it's done at least 100 miles. Don't go by the gauge, go by how much you put in and how far you go.
