When browsing the forums on DIYnot.com, is there a way of specifying a page number to jump to? I notice that the first and last three pages of any given forum are listed as links, but beyond these, one has to scroll through the pages one at a time. I find this rather irritating, and on other boards using IPB a box is provided to enter a page number. Am I being an idiot and missing something here? Or do I just have to live with it?

One way to do it is once you have jumped to page 2 specify the post number in the url at the top, each page of the forum has 50 topics so if you wanted to go to page 100 you need to enter 4950, (99th page along from the front page).

Good thinking, that's a way for sure, and one that hadn't occurred to me. Requires a little more mental application than I'd sometimes like though. I prefer the IPB method.
