Frame issues

Hi ,I have 3 door frames on my landing they all have glass at the top ,so a door underneath the glass. Not sure of the technical term for it but I will call it the header the top of the frame below the the glass(i will post pics)all of mine are not 100%square so if you shut a door for example with a square at the top ,when door closed for example and you measure th distance from the square in the door to top of frame header its different on each side and clearly visible if u look at it ,so annoying imo is there anyway that part of door frame could be cut out and refitted do it's bang on square I have lived here for over 30 years, or could you and thin timbers of some sort ,just guessing now ! I am going to get a friend (carpenter) to git 3 new doors at some point but I don't want to fo it until im happy with this frame issue, they have always been like it by the way.
