Franke Moselle Tap Leaking

Hi All,

I have a Franke Moselle Tap which I fitted in 2008 as part of my kitchen refurb. I noticed that it had developed a leak at the point where the spout joins the body of the tap. I ordered a washer kit but I have been unable to pull the spout out of the body. I can get it to the point where I can see the second washer but no further. Is there something other than brute force required? As far as I can see there are no grub screws or the like.

According to the instructions there is a "fixing nut" which seems to fix the spout to the tap body. Have you removed it?

Yes that is the first thing to unscrew otherwise you cannot see even the nylon circlip.

Get some penetrating spray lube and dose it up well, then it should pull out. Good quality taps, I fit them all the time
