Pragmatism.
Please explain how making assumptions based purely on suspicions can possibly be called pragmatism.
If the assumption is based on some mistaken belief that white indigenous people are incapable of the kind of behaviour reported, that's bigotry.
So you make your own assumptions anyway. That's called bigotry.

Cutting, redacting quotes and adding your own words is not clever and leaves you open to silly responses, of your own making.

The media report did not contain any description of the people involved. That was your and andy11's assumption based on your bigotry.
But if you wish to assume they were ducks, that's your privilege and your right.
