he presses the quote button then manually adds the extra quote markers to splie the main quote up..

if you quote him you can see how it's done..

First one is easy: use the quote button within the op's post.
After that use the quote button just above when you're writing your response and add the "whatsit said"
like this

The above *******s is what i got when i started to use the quote button in the quote section. :confused:

Use the quote button on the op's post to get the correct syntax

then you can easily copy & paste it, not forgetting to end your quote with "[/quote]"
