My PC has slowly been getting worse over the past few months. The screen keeps freezing up and sometimes the cursor disappears as well. Its now doing this everytime Im online now.
Anyone got any ideas how I can give it a clean up please.
Im not really an I.T. head so you may have to spell it out for me

How about a thorough virus scan (perhaps leave it running overnight if it runs slowly). Also a scan by Windows Defender - either of these should root out any viruses or trojans that are slowing your system down. Windows Defender is free from Microsoft.

Perhaps also try the disk cleanup feature under Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools, and clear some space on your HDD.

Another possible is running a registry defrag program, like RegistryBooter (I think is the name of the one I use).
