You can take a length of 2.5mm T&E from socket number 1 round to socket number 3.
This will effectively create a ring circuit protected by the 32A breaker and is perfectly safe to the regs.

I take it you mean this loop from 1 to 3 And then a spur from socket 3 to a new single or double socket to enable all 3 appliances to be plugged in?

Fuse boxes have not been used this century and there were never 32 amp fuses. I suggest you have a consumer unit with MCBs.

The old bottle fuses did come as 16 and 32 amp, although I agree unlikely to be a fuse. I liked the LAP grid sockets as you could fit a fuse holder switch and socket in a standard double back box IMGP7387.jpg then I could connect as many as I wanted to that as fused down.

i would add a new double socket(4) fed from 3 then complete the ring from 4 to 1

I get you now. The way I described would be a spur. I will do it like you just mentioned. Much appreciated.

I didn't realise you also wanted a spur but yes, 'sureitsoff' method is by far the better way, rather than taking a spur off.

I thought a spur off socket 3 would be ok as then that would be the same as sockets 2 and 1. I don't want a spur as well as an additional socket.

The way I described it to 'sureitsoff' would have been a spur as I thought to take the 2.5 from socket 1 into 3 and then sour off. But as 'sureitsoff' clarified, 2.5mm into new socket 4 from 3 then into existing socket 1 to make the ring. (y)

Confused myself then
