hello i have a hotpoint fridge freezer model ffa90. it has been a good appliance but lately water started dripping from beneath the door . took out tray and at the back it was frozen. this is only happening on the bottom compartment of freezer. please help

Even though it is a frost free model the freezer compartment can freeze up

When it goes into auto-defrost a heater element inside the freezer comes on to de-ice the condensor.
The defrosted water then runs down into a gully and drains out like it does with the frost free fridge.
This gully and condensate hose can freeze up preventing water from exiting properly and it usually comes out the front instead or freezes solid on the base.
You may be lucky and get away with a proper old fashioned defrost
a) switch off
b) open door
c) remove food
d) leave door open
e) keep mopping up water untill the compartment is completely dry
note the ice will have built up behind panels and all of this needs time to be able to defrost fully
f) once it is all done clean out the drain gully and pipes in case they were blocked

If not it could be the PCB or the defrost circuit
