What are the words, letters and numbers written on the thing that trips?
There is a chance it is water related, sometimes due to the defrost water from the dish on top of the motor. Unplug it, Pull the appliance away from the wall and clean out and inspect the dish and the drainage tube.

Thanks for your help.
We isolated the problem to the fridge. The trip switch unhelpful you did not have any helpful writing on- all the other did.
Cleaned and defrosted. Hoovered the back and emptied the dish.
Left it overnight and today switched it on- it lasted about an hour before it tripped again.
Now we really need it and have had to call someone in to have a look.
