From electric hob to gas rings

Hi All
I plan to move from an electric hob to gas rings - please advice as to how I go about this? Is it likely to be expensive? Really want to practice my culinary skills (!!!) but find it challenging with electric cooker!!!

Asking if it will be expensive is like asking how long is a piece of string, you will need a gas supply to the new hob & gas hobs tend to be more expensive than electric.
