Hi there, my newbuild is not so new, about 4.5 years old.
I have noticed the following and wondered if anyone could tell me what could be causing this? The door has not had any bangs or damage that would cause this. It seems some of the plaster is coming away between the doorframe and plasterboard for the hallway.

It looks more like it's the sealant coming away and bringing a bit of frail plaster with it. Remove the sealant completely, patch any bits of loose plaster and repaint, tighten up the door frame screws if they're a bit slack and reseal the joint.

That doorstop is also in the worst place it could be, every time the door hits that doorstop the door will act as a fulcrum and pull against the screws holding the door frame. Move the doorstop further away from the door.

Thank you, really helpful.
No need to worry about the doorstop as I actually have a wooden radiator cover a bit further along and it sticks out quite a bit so the door never fully opens 90 degrees.

Thanks again;)
