Hi All, I'm new here but am hoping for some advice and hopefully can avoid having a locksmith out! I have an Iseo front door lock and it's been sticky for the past few months but eventually yesterday it decided it was not going to unlock ever again! now my front door is wooden and very tightly fitted so I don't think i'll be able to do the hinge thing I had read an earlier post i'm just wondering if I get some locking picking tools whether i'll be able to force it open again? if that's possible is it worth me purchasing locking picking tools and attempting this before anything else?

So is it the door being tight, binding the boltwork?
Or is it the lock?
Is it a mortise lock or a rim lock.
Is the key damaged? Have you tried it from the other side?
Lock picks are not stronger than keys so what are you trying to achieve?
Got any WD40?
