About 2 years ago a timber porch was added with some part L insulated doors fitted.

Roll forward to now and they seem to not be as sealed as they once were. In the summer mornings the sunlight can be seen at the edge from inside the house even when the door is shut. The fibre strip all around the edge does not reach to the door anymore. Is that normal settling in? and how straight should all the edges be after just two years?

I'd repost, with pictures of the gap and the hinges and latches, in the Windows and Doors forum.

It may just need some adjustment, and you may even get the original firm back for no cost to do so....

The door should remain sealed for its 25 year life.

Ask in the doors and windows forum, there are some fitters there.

Hi, thanks to the advice above I have contacted the supplier and asked them to look at it
